Monsoon Forecast: Imd alert for heavy rainfall, hailstorms, and thunderstorms in these states until 20 April

Weather Update: The weather is changing very rapidly across the country. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), a warning has been issued regarding rain in many states between April 18 and 21. There may be light rain with thunder in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

At the same time, an alert has been issued regarding the heat wave in Bihar, Gujarat, and West Bengal. It has been raining in Madhya Pradesh for the last several days. Due to the rain, people got some relief. Due to the Western Disturbance on April 19, there is a possibility of rain in many districts of the state.

Rain activity may be seen in eight North Indian states in the next few days. IMD has predicted heat wave conditions in Odisha and West Bengal until April 21. IMD has issued a severe heat warning in Odisha until April 19 and in West Bengal until April 21.

Rain warning in Delhi

There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in the capital, Delhi, on April 18th and 19th. There is a possibility of an increase in temperature in Delhi.

According to IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi can be recorded between 34 and 37 degrees Celsius this entire week, while the minimum temperature can be recorded between 22 and 23 degrees Celsius.

Rain warnings in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, rain has been predicted in Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi till April 20. Apart from this, rain with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds can be seen in Uttar Pradesh till April 19 and Rajasthan till April 19.

Heavy rain has been predicted in the Jammu and Kashmir region on April 19. There is a possibility of hailstorms in Himachal Pradesh until April 19th and in Uttarakhand on April 19th.

According to IMD, rain has been predicted in the north-eastern states. By April 21, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura may receive light to moderate rain as well as snowfall.

Arunachal Pradesh state may receive heavy rainfall until April 21. Similar weather will continue in Assam and Meghalaya until April 21. Apart from this, heavy rains may occur in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on April 18, 20, and 21.
