Engine
The new Swift will get a 1.2 liter, 3-cylinder, Z-series engine. Mild hybrid technology can also be available with the engine. It can generate power of 81.6 PS at 5700 rpm and torque of 112 Nm at 4300 rpm. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual or automatic gearbox. According to reports, the new generation Swift will give a mileage of 25.72 km per liter, while its current model gives a mileage of 22.38 km per liter. The new Swift will also have a CNG model, which is expected to be launched next year.
Features
6 airbags can be provided as standard in 2024 Maruti Swift. This hatchback will have a 9-inch touchscreen SmartPlay Pro Plus infotainment system, Arcamis sound system, A and C type USB ports, wireless phone charging, Suzuki Connect technology, rear AC vents and LED fog lamps. Apart from this, the car can be provided with analog dial, multi information display (MID), flat-bottom steering wheel, keyless entry, automatic climate control and ventilated seats.
Price
After changes in engine and features, the new Swift will become costlier than the current generation model. The current model of Swift currently ranges from Rs 6.24 lakh to Rs 9.82 lakh. This price is ex-showroom.
