Mahindra XUV 700: Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to introduce a special edition of its hugely popular XUV700 SUV lineup in India. Ahead of its official launch, brochure scans of the limited edition have been leaked online. As per the leaked scans, the Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition will have a unique Matte Blaze Red color scheme. The contrasting Napoli Black roof, black alloy wheels, blacked-out B, C and D pillars and black ORVMs (Outside Rearview Mirror) add to its sporty look
Interior part
Black-and-red theme will be adopted in the interior. Mahindra XUV700 Black Edition will get all-black interiors with red stitching on the AC vents, center console and seat upholstery. Further details about the new XUV700 Blaze Edition are not available at the moment
Features
The upcoming special edition may be based on the higher trims and may include a dual 10.25-inch screen setup (one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument cluster), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless charger, leatherette upholstery. Features like air purifier, power mirror, A and C-type USB port, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, drive mode, cornering lamp, dual-zone climate control, electronic parking brake and auto-folding mirror can be found
Power train
The new Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition can be offered with both a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine and a 2.2L, 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engine. The petrol engine generates 200bhp power with 380Nm torque, while the diesel engine is available in two states of 155bhp with 360Nm and 185bhp with 420Nm (MT)/450Nm (AT). Four drive modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom – are available with the diesel engine. These modes affect steering response and overall performance of the vehicle. Both engine options are available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. An all-wheel drive (AWD) setup is available as standard across the XUV700 model lineup
