What is a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program?
Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program means that the company will provide you with battery as a service facility with this electric scooter. For the battery, you will have to pay a separate monthly subscription, which is Rs 1499. It is the first company in India that is working on disassembling batteries and providing it as a service to customers. Its special thing is that the company has introduced the battery of the electric scooter with lifetime warranty. Due to which battery related problems will be solved.
Range of 100 kilometers is available on a single charge
The company says that once the battery of this affordable high speed electric scooter is fully charged, a driving range of up to 100 kilometers can be achieved. Its highest speed is 50 kilometers per hour and it runs at this speed
EV customers will get more benefits
While launching the electric scooter, Pritesh Talwar, President, EV Business, Lectrix EV, said that customers will get more benefits under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program. He said, by separating the battery from the vehicle and providing it as a service, the EV experience becomes more accessible and affordable for customers compared to ₹100,000 to buy an ICE vehicle. Our new electric scooter is half the price. Apart from this, the cost of petrol and vehicle maintenance varies every month.
