BMW X5 xLine: BMW has launched the X5 in the Indian market. The car will be manufactured locally at BMW Group’s plant in Chennai. X5 will be sold with two equipment options: xLine and M Sport. The luxury SUV will be available with gasoline or diesel engines. It will come with the xDrive four-wheel drive system as standard. BMW X5 price starts from Rs 93.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.06 lakh. Both prices are pre-show prices. The X5 now features Matrix Adaptive LED head lights with blue accents. BMW’s grille now has lights that can be activated.

Features

The new BMW X5 xLine model comes as standard with roof rails and exterior lines finished in satin aluminium. The vehicle has 21 inch alloy wheels. The M Sport package includes a front spoiler, roof rails and gloss black shadow stripes, a dark shadow rear spoiler and trapezoidal tailpipes. 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system The interior of the is equipped with BMW’s widescreen curved screen, which includes a 12.3-inch digital driving display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system running on the new BMW iDrive . . It is equipped with 8 operating systems. Harman sound system and panoramic sunroof BMW model comes with sports seats. The M Sport model features ventilated, adjustable power supplies for the driver and front passenger. These are 4-zone automatic climate control, Harman Kardon surround sound system and solar panel. M Sport comes with M leather steering wheel, M headliner in anthracite, M footrest and pedal cover in aluminum, M car key and M color interior package.

Engine Powertrain

The Power X5 is a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine. The petrol engine produces 375 BHP and 520 NM maximum torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers takes only 5.4 seconds. It can reach speeds per hour. Its diesel engine produces 282 hp of power and 650 nm maximum torque output. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 6.1 seconds. Both engines are equipped with a 48V electric motor producing 10 hp and 200 Nm of maximum torque. The working transmission is an 8-speed automatic transmission.
