Train Cancelled: Big trouble is ahead for railway passengers. The railway administration in the Adra Railway Division is currently engaged in special repair work to bolster the railway lines. As a result, from June 22nd to June 28th, 2026, the South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to completely cancel six important trains on various dates. Additionally, for the safety of passengers and to ensure smooth operations, ten trains will have ‘short termination’ and ‘short origination’ (partial cancellation) before reaching their scheduled destinations.
This move by the Railways will have a direct impact on numerous daily and long-distance passengers traveling through Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. To minimize inconvenience, passengers are advised by the railway administration to check the real-time status of their respective trains before commencing their journey.
List of Cancelled Trains
– June 22nd & 25th: Train No. 68061/68062 Adra – Asansol – Adra MEMU will be completely canceled.
– June 23rd, 26th & 28th: Train No. 68090/68089 Adra – Medinipur – Adra MEMU will not be operational.
– June 25th and 28th: Train No. 68077/68078 Adra – Bhaga – Adra MEMU will be canceled.
Trains with short termination
– Chakradharpur – Gomoh – Chakradharpur Express (18116/18115): This train will only operate up to Mahuda station and return from there instead of continuing to its original destination on June 23rd, 26th, and 28th.
– Asansol – Tatanagar – Asansol MEMU (68055/68056): This train will terminate at Adra station on June 23rd, 24th, and 27th.
– Asansol – Purulia – Asansol MEMU (63594/63593): This train will conclude its journey at Adra station on June 22nd, 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th.
– Kharagpur – Hatia – Kharagpur Express (18035/18036): This train will only go up to Adra on June 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 27th.
– Bardhaman – Hatia – Bardhaman MEMU Express (13503/13504): This train will operate only until Gomoh station instead of Hatia on June 25th and 28th.
Meanwhil Due to ongoing rail infrastructure work in the Bilaspur division, the South Central Railway has cancelled several trains and altered the schedules and routes of some. This work will continue from June 22nd, or today, until July 5th, 2026. Consequently, the railway has decided to cancel several trains.
