Indian Railways Update: Indian Railways places great importance on passenger care and is constantly introducing new amenities. While numerous special trains are being scheduled for the festive season, the Railway Board has also approved the launch of two new train services to strengthen rail connectivity between various cities in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. This move will significantly benefit thousands of daily commuters travelling between these states. However, the launch dates and timetables for these trains have not yet been announced; separate notifications regarding these details will be issued later.
Routes, Numbers, and Timings of New Trains
Pune-Beed Express
The Pune-Beed Express has been approved as a daily train service connecting two major cities in Maharashtra.
Train No. 11433 (Pune to Beed): This train will depart from Pune at 22:45 and arrive in Beed at 06:00 the following morning. Train No. 11434 (Beed to Pune): On the return journey, the train will depart from Beed at 21:30 and arrive in Pune at 05:20. Key Stoppages: Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Shrigonda Road, Ahilyanagar, Narayandoho, New Ashti, and Amalner Bhandyache.
Pratapnagar-Tanda Road MEMU
This will be a daily MEMU service connecting the border regions of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
Train No. 69105 (Pratapnagar to Tanda Road): This train will depart from Pratapnagar at 05:00 and arrive at Tanda Road at 09:35 the following morning. Train No. 69106 (Tanda Road to Pratapnagar): On the return journey, it will depart from Tanda Road at 17:05 and arrive in Pratapnagar at 21:25. Key stops: Dabhoi, Chhuchhapura, Bodeli, Pavi, Chhota Udepur, Padaliya Road, Motisadhali, Ambari Richhavi, Alirajpur, Khandala, Jobat, and Dekakund.
50 trips between Varanasi and Delhi
A Varanasi-Delhi-Varanasi Reserved Special Express will be operated to cater to the festive rush between Delhi and Eastern UP. Train No. 04209 will depart from Varanasi at 10:15 PM and arrive in Delhi at 1:45 PM the following day.
This train will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from October 2 to November 27. On the return leg, Train No. 04210 will depart from Delhi at 6:50 PM and reach Varanasi at 9:50 AM the next day. This train will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from October 2 to November 28.
Special train from Chandigarh to Patna as well
The Railways has also decided to launch a Chandigarh-Patna special train. Train Nos. 04512 and 04511 will make a total of 18 trips. This train will reach Patna via Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar, Ara, and Danapur.
