Train Cancelled: There is a major update for railway passengers. From August 10th to 16th, various development projects will take place in the Adra Railway Division of South Eastern Railway. As a result, the Railways has announced the cancellation of nine trains on different dates. In addition, 11 trains will be short terminated and short originated from their planned destinations. This decision by the railway will affect thousands of daily commuters from Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. The railway administration encourages passengers to verify the updated status of their trains on the official website, the National Train Inquiry System app, or by calling the helpline number 139 before they travel.

 

List of cancelled trains:

  •  Adra-Asansol-Adra MEMU (68046/68045): Cancelled on 10, 13, 14, and 16 August.
  • Adra-Medinipur-Adra MEMU (68090/68089): Cancelled on August 11, 14, and 16.
  •     Adra-Bhaga-Adra MEMU (68077/68078): Cancelled on 16th August.
  •     Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU (63594/63593): Cancelled on 10th, 12th, and 13th August.
  •     Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU (68056): Cancelled on 16th August.

Trains running on short terminated and short originated routes:

Chakradharpur-Gomo-Chakradharpur Express (18116/18115): Will only run up to Mahuda station on 11th, 14th, and 16th August.

Asansol-Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU (68055/68056): Will run only up to Adra on 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th August.

Asansol-Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU (68055/68056): On 06th August, this train was/will be running only to Purulia station.

Asansol-Tatanagar MEMU (68055): Will only run to Adra station on 16th August.

Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU (63594/63593): Will run only to Adra on 11th, 14th, and 16th August.

Asansol-Barabhum MEMU (68060): Will run only to Adra on 14th and 16th August.

Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express (18035/18036): Will run only to Adra station on 10th, 12th, and 16th August. According to the railway administration, these infrastructure improvements will enhance the speed and safety of trains in the future.

 

Also track work will be carried out on the Phulera-Ringas-Rewari rail section of the North Western Railway’s Jaipur division. This is why the railway has decided to cancel several trains and reroute some. If you are planning to travel on this route, please check the train schedule first.

Train No. 59633 Rewari-Ringas will remain cancelled between 29th August to 20th September.

Train No. 19619 Phulera-Rewari will not run from 29th August to 24th September.

Train number 59710 Bhiwani-Jaipur will remain cancelled from August 12 to September 24.

Train No. 19621 Phulera-Rewari will not run from 29th August to 24th September.

Train No. 19620 Rewari-Phulera will not run from 29th August to 24th September.

Train number 59709 Jaipur-Bhiwani will remain cancelled from August 12 to September 24.
