Tata Aeris: Tata Motors has released another teaser for its compact new sedan, the Tata Aeris. The sedan is set to launch on September 25, and the new teaser reveals several details of its production-spec exterior for the first time. Slimmer headlamps, integrated LED DRLs, new U-shaped alloy wheels, and redesigned LED tail lamps give the Aeris a look that is quite distinct from the current Tigor. Front Look of the Tata Aeris

The front profile of the Tata Aeris is the highlight of the new teaser. It features slimmer headlamps compared to the previous model, with integrated LED DRLs. This gives the sedan’s front end a sharper and more modern appearance. The Aeris replaces the large headlamp setup found on the current Tigor with a much sleeker design.

Previous teasers had already revealed the redesigned front nose, which includes a larger lower air intake and a new bumper design. Tata has opted for significant changes to the front styling rather than just minor tweaks.

Rear Profile

The rear design of the Tata Aeris has also been revamped. The new teaser showcases redesigned LED tail lamps with a sharper internal lighting signature. The ‘Aeris’ lettering is also neatly positioned on the tailgate.

Earlier teasers hinted at changes to the boot lid and rear bumper, and the latest teaser confirms that substantial work has gone into the rear profile. Additionally, new U-shaped alloy wheels are visible; these are expected to be offered on higher-end variants, lending a more premium look to the sedan’s overall side profile.

Cabin

Major changes are also expected in the interior of the Tata Aeris. While the company has not yet disclosed full details about the cabin, available information suggests it may feature a redesigned dashboard.

The new sedan is expected to come with a large touchscreen infotainment system, a revised digital instrument cluster, and a new steering wheel. The centre console layout may also be updated, reflecting Tata’s recent focus on modern cabin designs and connected features in its new models.

Petrol and CNG Engines

The petrol version of the Tata Aeris is expected to retain the existing 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Revotron engine. This engine generates approximately 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. It is available with both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options.

This is also encouraging news for those who prefer CNG, as the Aeris lineup is expected to continue offering a factory-fitted CNG version. So far, there have been no reports of major mechanical changes to the engine. This suggests that Tata may be focusing more on design, cabin, and technology upgrades.

Electric Version

An electric version of the Tata Aeris is also expected to be launched. The current Tigor EV features a 26 kWh battery pack and a 55 kW electric motor that delivers 170 Nm of torque. Its certified driving range is up to 315 km.
