2026 Triumph Daytona 660: Triumph has launched the 2026 model of its sports bike, the Daytona 660, in the Indian market. It carries a starting price of ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is approximately ₹11,000 higher than the previous model. Despite this slight price hike, the new Daytona 660 features upgrades designed to deliver a superior riding experience. These include adjustable front suspension, a standard quick-shifter, new tyres, and fresh colour options.
2026 Triumph Daytona 660 Price
Starting with the price, the new Daytona 660 is priced at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). While Triumph hasn’t made major changes to the bike’s styling, the company has focused on areas that directly impact the riding experience.
Suspension
The most significant change in the 2026 Daytona 660 is to its front suspension. It now features 41 mm Showa upside-down front forks that offer compression and rebound adjustability.
This allows the rider to fine-tune the suspension settings according to their riding style and road conditions. Whether for daily city commuting or enjoying twisty roads on the weekend, the adjustable suspension helps tailor the bike’s behaviour to your specific needs.
Quick-Shifter
It is worth noting that a bi-directional quick-shifter is now standard equipment on the 2026 Daytona 660 model; previously, the feature had to be purchased as a separate accessory.
The quick-shifter is particularly beneficial during spirited riding. It reduces the need to repeatedly use the clutch for gear changes, resulting in a smoother and more engaging riding experience during acceleration.
New Metzeler Tires
Triumph has also updated the tyres on the Daytona 660. The 2026 model comes equipped with Metzeler M9 RR tyres, whereas the outgoing model featured Michelin Power 6 tyres. It features performance-focused M9 RR tyres, utilised to enhance the bike’s handling and grip characteristics.
Design
In terms of design, the 2026 Triumph Daytona 660 retains its original basic design. The company has not made any major changes to the exterior styling, so it keeps its signature sporty look.
However, Triumph has introduced three new colour options: Aluminium Silver with Sapphire Black highlights, Cosmic Yellow with Sapphire Black highlights, and Sapphire Black.
Engine
There have been no changes to the engine. The 2026 Daytona 660 is powered by the same 660cc inline three-cylinder engine, producing 94 bhp of power and 68 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The three-cylinder configuration sets the Daytona 660 apart, as it delivers more power compared to a twin-cylinder setup.
