Panipat Metro Train: Another good news related to Metro has come out for Haryana. People traveling between Sonipat-Delhi are going to get the gift of Metro very soon. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has given its approval to extend the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro from Samaypur Badli to Sonipat. Under this project, the Metro will be extended to Sonipat via Nathupur.

Union Minister confirmed

After this approval, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) can now start the work of preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for this Metro project expansion. Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu also confirmed this and said that the government has approved the extension of the Yellow Line from Samaypur Badli to Narela.

Metro will reach Sonipat

Delhi Metro, one of the busiest and most reliable rapid transport services in the country, will reach Sonipat in Haryana under its new expansion plan. This project will not only make the journey between Delhi-Sonipat easier, but will also help in integrating other parts of the National Capital Region (NCR). Now the DPR of this project will be prepared, which will be a detailed report of the financial and technical aspects of the project. Further steps will be decided on this basis.

Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line

The Yellow Line of Delhi Metro is 47.2 km long and extends from Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Center in Gurugram. There are 37 stations on this line and it provides 8 interchange points, making it easy to reach different parts of NCR.

Delhi Metro is now working on another new corridor, which will be 26.5 km long. It will have 21 stations. This line will go from Rithala to Nathupur and will cover areas like Rohini, Bawana and Narela on the way. Rithala, Rohini Sector- 25, 26, 31, Bawana, Narela and Nathupur will be the major stations of this corridor. After the completion of this project, connectivity between the outskirts of Delhi and Sonipat will be strengthened.
