Haryana News: Maruti Suzuki has approved the establishment of a third plant in Kharkhoda, Haryana to increase its production. Through this plant, the company’s annual production capacity will increase by 2.5 lakh vehicles. Currently, the Kharkhoda plant manufactures 2.5 lakh vehicles every year, and the second plant is under construction, which will increase the capacity by another 2.5 lakh vehicles. With the addition of the third plant, Maruti’s total production capacity will reach 7.5 lakh vehicles by 2029.

The company will invest Rs 7,410 crore to set up this new plant, which is part of the company’s plan to meet the growing demand and expand production capacity.
Maruti produced 20 lakh vehicles in 2024, of which about 60% were made in Haryana plants, while 40% of the vehicles were manufactured from Gujarat plants. The 20 lakhth vehicle in this important milestone was an Ertiga, which rolled out from the Manesar plant in Haryana.
