Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Jofra Archer is bowling fiery deliveries in IPL 2025. A glimpse of this was seen against Gujarat Titans. Archer bowled at a speed of 147.7 kmph and clean bowled GT captain, Shubman Gill.

Archer came to bowl the third over of the innings. On the very first ball, he got an inswinger on a good length. Gill tried to play a drive, but before his bat could come forward, the ball hit the off stump. Gill couldn’t believe he was out and walked back to the pavilion with a surprised ‘woo’ expression on his face.

Fans Trolled Gill on Social Media

The video of Shubman Gill getting out to Jofra Archer’s fast ball has gone viral on social media. Many users made fun of the Gujarat Titans captain. One user even shared Gill’s IPL stats against Archer and wrote, “Aukaat for quality bowlers.”

Gujarat Won Despite Gill’s Wicket

Shubman Gill’s early wicket did not affect the Gujarat Titans. In the match held at Narendra Modi Stadium, Gujarat scored 217 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs, thanks to Sai Sudharsan’s brilliant 82-run knock. In reply, the Rajasthan Royals were all out for 159 runs in 19.2 overs.

Gujarat Titans Reach Top of the Table

With this win, the Gujarat Titans moved to the number one spot in the IPL 2025 points table. This was their fourth win in five matches under Shubman Gill’s captaincy. On the other hand, the Rajasthan Royals dropped to seventh place with two wins and three losses from five matches.
