Hardik Pandya completed 50 in 19 balls

The last matches of the Elite Group round are being played today on 8th January in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26. The match is being played between Chandigarh and Baroda at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. In this match, Hardik Pandya from Baroda played a brilliant inning of 75 runs in just 31 balls with the help of two fours and 9 sixes.

The most special thing is that Pandya completed his half century in just 19 balls. Apart from him, Vishnu Solanki played a half century inning of 54 runs. While Priyanshu Moliya is unbeaten on 74 runs. Baroda team has put 250 runs on the score board at the loss of five wickets in 34 overs. Baroda, who won the toss and elected to bat first, had a poor start, losing both their openers Nitya Pandya (2) and AH Passi (5) for just 11 runs in 2.2 overs.

Priyanshu Moliya and Vishnu Solanki then steadied the innings, sharing an 80-run stand for the third wicket. Solanki was dismissed after scoring 54 runs off 49 balls. Captain Krunal Pandya then came in, but could only manage 20 runs. Hardik Pandya then came to the crease and immediately launched a barrage of sixes. Pandya reached his half-century off just 19 balls and smashed 75 runs off just 31 balls, including two fours and nine sixes.

Pandya was caught by Nikhil Thakur off Jagjit Singh Sandhu. When Pandya was dismissed, the score was 213/5 in 29.1 overs. JM Sharma followed him, and in Hardik’s style, he thrashed the bowlers, reaching his half-century off just 23 balls. At the time of writing, Priyanshu was unbeaten on 79, and Sharma was unbeaten on 53.
