Rohit-Kohli started training
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have started training before returning to the ODI team. Some reports say BCCI is not in a hurry to decide on their ODI future. Now Rajiv Shukla has given a statement on this matter. During a program, when asked if Rohit and Kohli will get a farewell like Sachin Tendulkar when they retire, Shukla said there is no need to worry as both are still playing ODIs.

Shukla said – BCCI never asks players to retire
Shukla said, “When did they retire? Both Rohit and Kohli are playing ODIs now, so why talk about farewell? Why are people worried now?” He added that BCCI never asks any player to retire, this decision is always taken by the player himself.
Shukla also said that Virat Kohli is still one of the fittest players and Rohit Sharma is a great ODI player. He told fans not to think about farewell right now. “When that time comes, we will tell you. Kohli is fit, moving forward. Rohit is playing well, so do not worry about farewell now,” Shukla said.
Rohit-Kohli can be seen on Australia tour
Rohit and Kohli last played for India in the Champions Trophy final this year. Now, both will play in the ODI series against Australia from 19 to 25 October.
