Skoda Slavia Facelift Launch Date: Skoda Slavia is set to receive an update for the Indian market. The company is scheduled to launch the Skoda Slavia Facelift on October 6, 2026. Production of the new sedan has already commenced at the Chakan plant in Pune. Notably, pre-bookings have also opened, requiring a booking amount of ₹15,000.

The Skoda Slavia Facelift will feature a new design along with a 10.25-inch digital display, a 360-degree camera, a rear-seat massager, and a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. In addition to design updates, several new features have been added, and the 1.0-litre TSI engine will now be paired with the new 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Slavia Facelift Design

Skoda has revealed the Slavia Facelift ahead of its launch. While the new sedan retains the overall shape of the current model, subtle changes give it a sharper and sportier appearance. The front features redesigned headlamps and restyled bumpers.

The rear profile showcases new taillights equipped with sequential turn indicators, giving the car a more premium look at night. Additionally, the sedan gets new 16-inch alloy wheels that further enhance its sporty character. Skoda has also introduced two new colour options for the facelifted model: Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige.

Cabin

Regarding the interior, the basic layout remains unchanged, but the car has received significant updates in terms of technology and comfort. The most notable change is in the infotainment system; it now features a 10.1-inch touchscreen with updated graphics, replacing the 10-inch unit found in the previous model. A large digital display is provided for the driver as well. The previous 8-inch digital driver display has been replaced by a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, which helps the driver view essential information more clearly.

The feature list includes a single-pane sunroof, a 360-degree camera, powered front seats, and ventilated front seats. Additionally, it offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Engine

Regarding engine updates, the Slavia facelift retains the existing petrol engines. The 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine delivers approximately 115hp of power and 178Nm of torque. Along with the 6-speed manual gearbox, this engine will now be available with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox; notably, this new 8-speed automatic replaces the older 6-speed automatic transmission.

On the other hand, the 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine generates around 150hp of power and 250Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

Slavia Facelift Pricing

The price of the new Slavia facelift is expected to be slightly higher than that of the current model. Currently, the Slavia is priced between approximately ₹9.99 lakh and ₹18.29 lakh. Due to the inclusion of new features, improved technology, and the new automatic gearbox, the company may implement a price hike. In the market, it will continue to compete against sedans such as the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Volkswagen Virtus.

Launch Date and Bookings

The Skoda Slavia facelift is set to launch in India on October 6, 2026. Production has already commenced at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India facility in Chakan, Pune. Pre-bookings are also open, with a booking amount of ₹15,000.
