
PM Kisan Updates: The Central Government operates the PM Kisan Yojana to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, the government transfers ₹6,000 annually to farmers in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each. This amount is transferred to farmers via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The Modi government has already transferred 23 installments under the PM Kisan scheme. Farmers are currently awaiting the 23rd instalment. However, no updates regarding the 24th instalment have yet been released. Four new changes have been introduced to the PM Kisan Yojana; let us look at these changes in detail.

Update Incomplete Information
If you are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana and have missed providing any essential information during registration, visit the PM Kisan portal and select the ‘Update Missing Information’ option. Tap on the section for missing information; a new page will open. Enter your Aadhaar number and registration number, fill in the captcha code, and tap ‘Search’. This will reveal which information is missing, allowing you to update and submit the details.
How to Update Mobile Number
If you have changed your mobile number, you also need to update the number registered with the PM Kisan Yojana. To make this change, enter your registration number and Aadhaar number on the portal. Then, enter the captcha code and tap ‘Search’. Finally, enter the number linked to your Aadhaar and update it.
How Ineligible Beneficiaries Can Make Online Refunds
If ineligible individuals are availing themselves of the benefits of the PM Kisan scheme, they should click on the ‘Ineligible Refund’ option. Enter the registration number or Aadhaar number, input the captcha code, and click on ‘Get OTP’. Then, you will receive a refund of the instalment amount received despite being ineligible.
How to find a solution to problems:
First, visit the PM Kisan Yojana portal. Next, click on “Search your point of contact.” A page will open where you need to click on “State Nodal Contact Details”. To find the nodal officer’s name, address, and number, click on “Search Nodal”; to contact the district official, click on “Search District Nodal”. After that, select the state and district, and then click on “Submit”. You will then see the nodal officer’s phone number and email ID, allowing you to contact them for assistance.
