PM Kisan 24th Installment: Good news may be on the way for millions of farmers nationwide as the 24th payment of the PM Kisan Samman Yojana is anticipated to be deposited into their bank accounts next month. Under this program, farmers receive a total of Rs 6,000 annually, distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each.

– With Dussehra approaching next month and Diwali following in November, the timely disbursement of funds from this initiative will provide substantial relief to farmers.
– Last year, the second installment was transferred on November 19th, while in 2024, funds were credited on October 5th.

In Kannauj, a correspondent reported that farmers in the district need to complete their pending formalities on time to avail the upcoming installment of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. The linking process of 40,823 farmers in the district with the PM-Kisan portal based on their e-KYC, land records, or bank account details has been delayed.
The Agriculture Department has urged such farmers to make necessary improvements immediately. Deputy Agriculture Director Santosh Kumar revealed that around 2.93 lakh farmers in the district are benefiting from the PM-Kisan scheme, receiving an annual installment of six thousand rupees directly into their bank accounts every four months.
He mentioned that incomplete e-KYC, unlinked bank accounts, or pending land records could affect the benefits of the next installment. Farmers will need to contact the relevant revenue officer or tehsil office for land records. Assistance from designated channels, including Jan Seva Kendra, can be sought for e-KYC and Aadhaar-related processes. Some farmers’ data on the portal has raised suspicions, including cases where the previous landowner is receiving benefits or the beneficiary is listed as an adult.
Such farmers can rectify necessary changes through the PM-Kisan portal or nearby Jan Seva Kendra. The department has advised farmers to upload essential documents like Aadhaar, land records, death certificates, etc., clearly and accurately to avoid rejection during verification.
