New Tatkal ticket booking rule from July 1, 2025: Indian Railways is introducing significant changes to the online ticket booking rules from July 1. It will be mandatory to link the IRCTC account with Aadhaar to book Tatkal tickets online. If your IRCTC account is not linked to your Aadhaar card, then you will not be able to book Tatkal tickets. On the other hand, Indian Railways is going to increase the fare for second-class passengers from July 1, 2025.
