CTET Marking Scheme and Passing Marks
Candidates who appeared for the CTET exam can estimate their results using the provisional answer key. However, for accurate results, they will have to wait for the final answer key. If objections filed based on the provisional answer key are found correct upon verification, those questions will be removed from the final answer key, and candidates will receive marks for those questions. A total of 150 questions are asked in the CTET exam, each carrying 1 mark. There is no negative marking in this exam.
When was the exam held?
The CTET 2026 exam was conducted on February 7th and 8th in two shifts across 140 cities and 1,803 exam centres. CTET is a qualifying exam for candidates seeking teaching positions in central government schools and other institutions.
