LPG Price Hike: The month of October has begun. Just ahead of the festive season, users of commercial LPG cylinders have been hit by a price hike today, October 1st. Oil marketing companies have revised LPG cylinder prices and released new rates. Purchasing an LPG cylinder during the festive period has now become significantly pricier. The 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs ₹62.50 more.

In Delhi, the price of a commercial cylinder has gone up by ₹62.50, reaching ₹2,810. In September, the price of the 19 kg cylinder in Delhi had increased by ₹9.50, bringing it to ₹2,747.50. Now, at the start of October, there has been another substantial hike.

Prices of commercial cylinders have risen by up to ₹71.50 across various cities in the country. In some cities, the price has increased by ₹60; in others, by ₹66; and in some, by as much as ₹71.50. However, there has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder today.

What is the price of the 19 kg cylinder in Delhi?
Looking at the commercial LPG cylinder prices effective today, the cost of the 19 kg gas cylinder in the capital, Delhi, has risen by ₹62.50 to reach ₹2,810. It is worth noting that the price of the 19 kg LPG cylinder was also increased earlier in September, when it became dearer by ₹9.50 in Delhi.

Domestic cylinder prices remain stable.
While oil companies have raised the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. The good news is that the 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is still available at the old rates. It is priced at ₹942 in Delhi, ₹941.50 in Mumbai, ₹957.50 in Chennai, and ₹968 in Kolkata.

What is the price of an LPG cylinder in Patna?
On October 1, Patna saw the steepest hike in the price of commercial LPG cylinders, with an increase of ₹71.50. The 19 kg cylinder there now costs ₹3,100.50.

In Chennai, the price of a commercial cylinder has risen by ₹66.50, bringing the cost to ₹2,983.
In Mumbai, the price of a commercial cylinder has gone up by ₹63, now costing ₹2,764.

In Delhi, the cylinder has become dearer by ₹62.50, while in Lucknow, the price has reached ₹2,932.50.
