Weather Update: The weather across the country is changing once again. The heat has already begun to bother people in early March. People have even started using their air conditioners. The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert for Gujarat and Rajasthan over the next three days. Temperatures are steadily rising in several states across the country, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Most states across the country are experiencing intense sunshine during the day.

Meanwhile, daytime temperatures in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are expected to be 8 to 12 degrees Celsius higher over the next four days, while in the plains of northwest India, they could be 6 to 8 degrees higher. So, let’s find out what the weather will be like in your city.

Rain Warning in These States

According to the IMD, a new western disturbance is expected to become active between March 9 and 11, bringing light rain and snowfall to the western Himalayan regions. Additionally, a warning has been issued for rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds in Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and parts of West Bengal. Heatwave warnings have also been issued in several states.

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand from March 7 to 13. Light rain is also expected in West Bengal from March 7 to 9. Sikkim may experience light rain from March 8 to 10, Bihar from March 9 to 10, and Jharkhand from March 9 to 11.

Delhi Weather Forecast

According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi is expected to have clear weather on March 8, with temperatures hovering between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius. Light clouds are expected on March 9 and 10.

Bihar Weather Forecast

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds is expected on March 9 and 10. Temperatures are also expected to remain above normal.

Uttar Pradesh Weather Forecast

According to the IMD, temperatures in some parts of the state may be 3 to 7 degrees Celsius above normal. Meanwhile, light rain accompanied by thunderstorms may occur in areas surrounding eastern Uttar Pradesh during March 9 and 10.
