UP Police SI Recruitment 2025  : As for candidates aspiring to get inducted into the UP Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment-2025, UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) have announced certain special age relaxations for this year’s SI posts. These announcements are to cater to candidates who have been deprived of opportunities for far too long because of COVID-19 swoosh or whatsoever.

What Are The New Age Relaxation Introduced?

The government has given one-time permission for age relaxation for all recruitments from the year 2020-2021 through to 2024-25. In this way, while the general category will get 3 years’ additional age relaxation, the reserved category candidates (OBC, SC, ST) will enjoy relaxation for 5 years. As such making it possible for more candidates to apply even now even if they crossed age limit on earlier occasion.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduation from any recognized university.

Age Limit(as on 1st July, 2025):

General category- 21 to 28 years(Born between 2ndJuly 1997 and 1st July 2004)

OBC/SC/ST(Residents of UP)- 21 to 33 years.

Candidates from other states- Same as in general category.

Physical Standards:

For male(General/OBC/SC):Height 168cm; Chest 79-84cm

For female(General/OBC/SC): Height 152cm

For male(ST):Height 160cm;Chest 77-82cm

For female(ST):Height 147cm

Physical Efficiency Test(PET):

Male:4.8 km run in 28 mins

Female:2.4 km run in 16 mins

Important Dates

Application starts: Expected from 25 April 2025.

Application ends: May 2025 (exact date to be announced).

Date of written examination: Will announce soon.

Pay Scale

The selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay scale from ₹ 9300 to 34800 with grade pay according to the state’s rules.
