Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Kamindu Mendis by bidding Rs 75 lakh in the auction. This was his debut season. In this, he played a total of 5 matches, in which Mendis scored 92 runs and also took two wickets in the season. However, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team was unable to do anything special.
