Qualifications to apply for a Veterinary Officer

  1. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized university/institute.
  2. The candidate should have a good understanding of writing Hindi in Devanagari script and should be aware of the culture of Rajasthan.
  3. Permanent/temporary registration from the Rajasthan Veterinary Council, Jaipur, is necessary.
  4. It is necessary to complete an internship before the written examination.
  5. The minimum age should be less than 20 years, and the maximum age should be more than 40 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates. Age calculation will be done from 1st January 2026.

How to fill out the application form online?

For this, first of all, you have to go to the commission’s website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Apart from this, one time registration (OTR) has to be done by going to the SSO portal sso.rajasthan.gov.in and selecting the recruitment portal available in the Citizen App (G2C). After doing OTR, the candidates can log in to the portal and go to the recruitment portal and complete the application process.

To apply, General (Unreserved)/ Backward Class (Creamy Layer)/ Extremely Backward Class Creamy Layer candidates will have to pay Rs 600, and SC/ ST/ Backward Class (Non Creamy Layer)/ Extremely Backward Class Non Creamy Layer/ Economically Weaker Section/ Sahariya/ Primitive Tribe candidates will have to pay Rs 400.

How will the candidates be selected?

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination. 150 questions will be asked in the written examination. One mark will be given for each question. 2 hours and 30 minutes will be given for the written examination.
