Rajasthan has released a recruitment notification for 9617 police constables. To participate in this recruiting, candidates who have completed their 12th grade and meet other physical requirements can complete the online form between April 28 and May 17, 2025. Only online applications will be accepted; no other forms will be accepted.

For young people who aspire to work for the government in the police department, there is excellent news. The Office of the Director General of Police Rajasthan Jaipur has released a notification regarding the hiring of Police Constables. The notification states that this recruitment will fill 9617 constable positions. Applications for this position will be accepted beginning on April 28 and will be accepted until May 17, 2025. During these dates, candidates will be able to complete the form online. Applications sent offline will not be accepted.

Qualifications & Requirements

The candidate must be an Indian citizen in order to apply for this position. The applicant must have graduated from a recognized board with a Senior Secondary (12th) diploma or its equivalent. Candidates must possess a current LMV or HMV driver’s license in order to apply for Constable Driver posts.

Maximum Age

Category General: The candidate must not have been born after January 1, 2008. Both male and female candidates should not have been born before January 2, 2002, or January 2, 1997, etc.

Candidates who are EWS, SC, ST, BC, or MBC should not have been born after January 1, 2008. Candidates should not have been born before January 2, 1992, for female candidates, or before January 2, 1997, for male candidates.

Dependents of deceased police officers and State Government employees: It is not acceptable for the candidate to have been born after January 1, 2008. Candidates should not have been born before January 2, 1994, for female candidates, or before January 2, 1999, for male candidates.

Former Service Members: The applicant must not have been born after January 1, 2008. Candidates, both male and female, should not have been born before January 2, 1983.

Process for Applications

Candidates can apply online by clicking the Apply online link on the recruitment advertisement on the website https://recruitment2.rajasthan.gov.in or by selecting Recruitment Stack2 in Citizen Apps (G2C) after logging in from the SSO portal http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in. The applicant will then select “Apply Now.” After completing One Time Registration (OTR), the candidate should fill out additional details to finish the application process. Lastly, pay the needed fee and submit the form.

Application Fee

Extremely Backward Class/General/Creamy Layer Backward Class The application fee for those from outside Rajasthan State is Rs 600. For applicants who belong to the Scheduled Caste, Economically Weaker Section, Backward Class, or Extremely Backward Class Scheduled Tribe/ TSP/ Sahariya category of non-creamy layer category of Rajasthan State, the fee has been fixed at Rs 400.
