Under the recruitment process, candidates will be appointed to a total of 455 posts. If you want to apply, keep in mind that the process of online application will start from 6 September 2025, and applications can be submitted till 28 September 2025. IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025: Details of posts
A total of 455 posts have been reserved for different categories. These include:
- General Category: 219 posts
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 46 posts
- Other Backwards Classes (OBC): 90 posts
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 51 posts
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 49 posts
Thus, this recruitment will be done for various states across the country. Candidates can apply for their state, but they must be residents of the respective state.
IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualification
The minimum qualification for these posts is Matriculation (10th pass). Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs). The candidate must have at least one year of experience driving a car after obtaining a driving license.
IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025: Age Limit
The age of the candidates applying should be between 18 to 27 years. Age will be calculated as of 28 September 2025. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.
IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
- The application fee for this recruitment has been fixed differently depending on the category:
- General, EWS and OBC male candidates have to pay ₹ 650 application fee.
- For all other candidates (Female, SC, ST, etc.), the application fee has been fixed at ₹ 550.
- The application fee has to be paid through online mode.
