Petrol Diesel: Reports indicate a critical shortage of petrol and diesel in the Beed and Dharashiv (Osmanabad) districts of Maharashtra, which is having a serious impact on daily life and farming activities. Numerous petrol stations have shut down, displaying “No Stock” signs, resulting in long lines of vehicles. This fuel scarcity is causing considerable inconvenience for the local residents.
As per reports, several petrol stations in and around the Shahgarh area of Jalna district are out of fuel. Many of these stations have put up signs saying “No Stock.” The lack of petrol and diesel has led to a major crisis for drivers. Where fuel is available, long queues of vehicles can be observed at the pumps.
Residents are expressing their frustration due to the unavailability of petrol and diesel. A significant shortage of these fuels has also been reported in the Kalamba-Dhoki area of Dharashiv district. Many petrol stations are closed because of the fuel shortage, which is disrupting both agricultural and other activities. People are experiencing a serious crisis, and this fuel scarcity is impacting their everyday lives. The absence of petrol and diesel is causing anger among the community.
Beed district has been struggling with a diesel shortage for the last three days. The lack of diesel in many areas is creating challenges for both freight and passenger vehicle drivers. Additionally, farmers are having trouble transporting their agricultural products from Beed district to other places. This severe diesel shortage is negatively affecting agricultural operations and freight transport in rural regions.
Demand from the administration to restore supply
Diesel is unavailable in many locations, but even where it is available, it is being supplied in small quantities. This poses the question of how to travel long distances. Drivers are now demanding that the administration take action in this regard. On Saturday morning (May 3), many petrol pumps were found closed, causing significant inconvenience to drivers. The situation is now putting increasing pressure on the local administration and related departments to restore supplies.
