Bihar CHO Recruitment 2025: There has been a large employment opportunity for those getting ready for government posts in the medical field. Bihar State Health Society is about to start accepting the applications for tens of thousands of Community Health Officer posts. The online application form for Bihar CHO Recruitment 2025 will open on 5 May 2025. The closing date to apply is fixed as 26 May 2025. The applications are required to be filled only on the official website of SHS Bihar. No application through any other mode will be accepted for the posts.
Vacancy Details
The recruitment is done for a total of 4500 posts of Community Health Officer. Shortlisted candidates by way of this process will be stationed at different Health and Wellness Centres in Bihar. The detailed vacancy break-up is as below: 979 UR, 245 EWS, 1243 SC, 55 ST, 1170 EBC, 640 BC, and 168 WBC (Women BC category).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess a B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree and a Certificate in Community Health (CCH). Alternatively, applicants who have done a GNM course and also possess a CCH certificate can apply. Educational qualification is an important requirement, and applicants should ensure they meet it before applying.
Age Limit
As per the notice, the candidates should have an age of 21-42 years. Relaxation of age is available for candidates of reserved classes as per norms of the government.
Application Fee
General, EWS, BC, and EBC category candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹500. SC, ST, PwBD, and female candidates need to remit a fee of ₹250. It is mandatory to pay the fee online at the time of application form submission.
