Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the BEL Vacancy 2025 should have a first-class degree in BE, BTech, or BSc Engineering from a relevant department like Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. Applicants with AMIE, AMIETE, or GIETE degrees in these departments are also qualified. SC, ST, and PwD applicants may have a pass class degree. The maximum age limit is 25 years as on 1st October, 2025 with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official BEL website, bel-india.in, from October 24, 2025, to November 14, 2025. Applicants must complete the registration, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee. The fee is ₹1180 for General, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and PwD applicants are exempted from payment.
Selection Process
The recruitment process of the BEL Vacancy 2025 consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by an interview. The CBT has a weightage of 85 marks and the interview 15 marks. The minimum marks required to be scored by candidates in both phases are 35% (General/OBC/EWS) and 30% (SC/ST/PwD). The test will have 125 questions—100 technical and 25 aptitude and reasoning questions—along with a negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer.
Salary and Benefits
Shortlisted applicants under the BEL Vacancy 2025 will be hired as Probationary Engineers at E-II Grade with a salary of ₹40,000–1,40,000.
