541 posts will be recruited
Let us tell you that candidates will be appointed to a total of 541 posts through the recruitment process in SBI. Out of the vacant posts, 203 are for the general category, while 135 are reserved for OBC, 50 for EWS, 37 for SC and 75 for ST candidates. 500 posts are regular, and 41 posts are backlog vacancies.
When will the SBI PO Prelims Result be released?
SBI PO Prelims exam result will be released soon, the same result can be released in September, after which there will be Mains, Psychometric Test (Group Exercise and Interview) exam after Prelims.

- Visit SBI’s official website sbi.co.in.
- Scroll down, and click on the ‘Career’ section at the bottom of the homepage.
- On the career page, click on ‘Recruitment Result’.
- Look for the ‘PO Preliminary Exam Result’ link and click on it.
- You will then be redirected to the login page.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth, and then click on submit.
- Here, the SBI PO preliminary exam result will appear on the screen.

Merit list will be prepared category-wise.
Let us tell you that based on performance in prelims, candidates will be eligible for mains, while candidates who pass the mains will be called for the third stage psychometric test. Category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in the preliminary examination. There will be no category-wise cut-off in the preliminary examination. Candidates 10 times (approximately) the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the main examination.
