JEE Main 2027: What are the eligibility criteria?
To apply for JEE Main 2027, candidates must have passed Class 12 or be appearing for the board exams in the upcoming year. Candidates must have studied physics, chemistry, and mathematics in Class 12; however, students who have studied biology or technical vocational subjects are also eligible to apply. Additionally, a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 is required for applying.

JEE Main 2027 Exam Pattern
Regarding the exam pattern, a total of 75 questions may be asked, with the paper carrying a total of 300 marks. Students will be awarded four marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. There will be no negative marking for unanswered questions.

The JEE Main 2027 paper will be divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will consist of two subsections—A and B—with Section A containing 20 questions. Section B will consist of 5 questions across 3 subjects. Attempting all questions will be mandatory; the option to choose specific questions has been removed by the NTA.
