Indian Railways: There is another update for railway passengers. Indian Railways’ latest developments include the approval of two new train services in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, along with extensions to four existing trains in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, there are seven new stoppages approved for various trains to enhance connectivity between cities and offer passengers more travel options within the Indian Railways network.

The concerned railway zones will soon release separate notifications to announce the commencement of the new train services, route extensions, and implementation of the approved stoppages. Here is a detailed list of the new trains sanctioned by the Railway Board for introduction on the Indian Railways network:

1. Kasganj-Aishbagh Express

The Railway Board has given the green light to the daily operation of the 15312/15311 Kasganj-Aishbagh Express. The train will depart from Kasganj at 4:20 AM, reaching Aishbagh at 1:00 PM. The return journey will start at 2:00 PM from Aishbagh, arriving in Kasganj at 10:40 PM. The train will make stops at Ujhani, Badaun, Bareilly, Izzatnagar, Pilibhit, Puranpur, Mailani, Gola Gokarannath, Lakhimpur, Sitapur, Sidhauli, and Mohibullapur.

2. Valsad-Surat MEMU

The Railway Board has approved the daily service of train number 69149 Valsad-Surat MEMU. Departing from Valsad at 1:20 PM, the train will reach Surat at 4:40 PM. Stops will include Dungri, Joravasan, Bilimora, Amlasad, Ancheli, Vedchha, Gandhi Smriti, Navsari, Maroli, Sachin, Bhestan, and Udhna.

3. Extension of Varanasi City-Gorakhpur Express to Nepalganj Road

The extension of train number 15132/15131 Varanasi City-Gorakhpur Express up to Nepalganj Road has been approved. The schedule will see the train departing from Varanasi City at 10:35 PM and reaching Nepalganj Road at 11:20 AM the following day. On the return journey, the train will leave Nepalganj Road at 4:15 PM and arrive in Varanasi City at 5:30 AM the next day. Additional stops will include Nakaha Jungle, Peppeganj, Campierganj, Anand Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Shohratgarh, Barhni, Tulsipur, Balrampur, Gonda, Payagpur, Bahraich, and Risia.

4. Extension of Rewa-Jabalpur Express to Madan Mahal

The extension of train number 22189/22190 Rewa-Jabalpur Express up to Madan Mahal has been sanctioned. The extended route will see train number 22190 departing from Rewa at 5:45 AM and reaching Madan Mahal at 10:07 AM, with a brief stop at Jabalpur. On the return journey, train number 22189 will depart from Madan Mahal at 5:00 PM, reach Jabalpur at 5:10 PM, and arrive in Rewa at 9:22 PM.

5. Extension of Jabalpur-Singrauli Express to Madan Mahal

The extension of train number 11265/11266 Jabalpur-Ambikapur Express up to Madan Mahal has been approved. The extended route will see train number 11266 departing from Ambikapur at 6:15 AM and reaching Madan Mahal at 3:20 PM, with a stop at Jabalpur. The return journey will start from Madan Mahal at 12:25 PM, reach Jabalpur at 12:35 PM, and arrive in Ambikapur at 11:00 PM.

The Railway Board has authorized additional stops for seven trains. Here is the complete list:

1. Train number 15093/15094 Achhnera-Tanakpur Express will now stop at Banbasa.
2. Train number 12221/12222 Pune-Howrah Duronto Express will include a stop at Akola.
3. Train number 55331/55332 Kasganj-Achhnera Passenger will have a halt at Garhi Beri.
4. Train number 12933/12934 Bandra(T)-Vatva Karnavati Express will make a stop at Navsari.
5. Train number 14319/14320 Indore-Bareilly Express is scheduled to stop at Dibai.
6. Train number 20161/20162 Pune-Jabalpur Express will now include a stop at Khandwa.
7. Train number 63387/63388 Jamalpur-Gaya MEMU will have a new stop at Pawai Brohmasthan.
