Bihar Monsoon Alert: The weather in Bihar is changing rapidly, resulting in intense heat at some locations and rain accompanied by thundering clouds at others. Where did heavy rain occur

The weather is changing rapidly in all parts of Bihar. Due to the rain, people are getting relief from the heat in many places, while the sun’s brightness is scorching others. Due to heavy rain in Kishanganj, the temperature level dropped. It is now also considered a good sign of the arrival of the monsoon.

It is often observed that the monsoon advances in Bihar from Kishanganj, Araria, Purnia, and Katihar. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for heavy rain has been issued in Kishanganj for today. Apart from this, a warning of rain with thunder has also been issued in many districts of North Bihar today. There is also a possibility of lightning and strong winds.

People have had to bear the heat due to a slight increase in the minimum temperature in South Bihar. Across the state, an average drop of 7.2 degrees has been observed in the maximum temperature. Additionally, the lowest temperature of 23.5 degrees has been recorded in Kishanganj. The highest temperatures recorded were 41.8 degrees in Dehri, Rohtas, 40.6 degrees in Buxar, and 40.3 degrees in Chapra.

According to BIM,  there may be heavy rainfall in two districts of Bihar. An orange alert has also been issued for this. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for 26 districts. The weather is likely to change in South Bihar from late evening.
