According to some weather experts, the monsoon is expected to enter Bihar between June 15 and 17. The weather is likely to change after June 14. A day earlier, on Wednesday, the temperature of Buxar reached 42.8 degrees Celsius, while 41.5 degrees were recorded in Rohtas. The mercury has also risen in the capital, Patna. A 5.4-degree increase has been recorded over the last week.
When will the monsoon enter?
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain starting in many parts of Bihar between June 13 and 14. This is likely to give relief to the people from the heat. The monsoon is expected to arrive between June 15 and 17. The Meteorological Department estimates that this time the state may receive more rain than usual.
Apart from this, the premature arrival of the monsoon is expected to be a significant relief, especially for farmers. At this time, preparations for paddy cultivation are in full swing, and good rains can lead to a boom in crop sowing.
Heavy rain in these districts
According to the Meteorological Department, on Wednesday, people were in the worst condition due to the heat. Here, the intense sunlight and humid, scorching heat troubled everyone. Last night, the weather started changing in many districts of North Bihar. Heavy rain was recorded in Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Muzaffarpur, Munger, Saharsa, Madhepura and Purnia. Heavy rain accompanied an intense storm in many districts, including Darbhanga, Madhubani, Araria, Kishanganj, and East Champaran.
At the same time, the weather remains dry and scorching in most districts of South Bihar, including Patna. Last night, a power outage affected many areas of Kankba, causing people to be even more stressed in the heat.
