Possibility of Rain in UP for Two Days

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a forecast for rain in several districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Kanpur, Lucknow, Auraiya, Kannauj, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, and Mahamayangar. In addition to these, heavy rainfall is also possible in Lalitpur, Jhansi, Sitapur, Mainpuri, Aligarh, Sambhal, and Bijnor. Furthermore, Bahraich, Farrukhabad, Meerut, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, and Pilibhit may experience rain accompanied by storms and thunder.

Warning Issued for Bihar as Well

According to the IMD, a warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for Patna, West Champaran, East Champaran, Siwan, and Bhojpur. There is a forecast for rain accompanied by storms in Saran, Gopalganj, Buxar, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Supaul, Saharsa, Purnia, and Araria.

Rain Expected in Uttarakhand

According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in Dehradun, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Tehri Garhwal, Almora, and Champawat. An alert has also been issued regarding wind speeds that could reach up to 60 kilometres per hour in these areas. **Rain Expected in Punjab as Well**

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by thunderstorms and squalls in Pathankot, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, and Ferozepur. Given the likelihood of lightning strikes, an appeal has been issued to exercise caution.

Heavy Rainfall Forecast for Haryana

According to the Meteorological Department, a moderate rainfall alert has been issued for Ambala, Sonipat, Gurugram, Kaithal, Panipat, Rewari, Hisar, Yamunanagar, and Mahendragarh. During this period, winds are expected to blow at speeds of up to 30 kilometres per hour.

Weather in Himachal Pradesh

According to the IMD, an alert for moderate to heavy rainfall has been issued for Shimla, Chamba, Kullu, Mandi, Lahaul-Spiti, Kangra, Hamirpur, and Manali. An alert for the occurrence of squalls has also been issued for these areas.

Rain Expected Elsewhere Too

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds in Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha from March 30 to April 2, and in Chhattisgarh over the next six days. Light to moderate rainfall is also anticipated. Rain accompanied by thunder may also occur in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Jharkhand. Additionally, rain is expected in Jammu & Kashmir and Western Rajasthan on March 30, as well as in Uttarakhand.
