Weather Update: The severe cold and rain in North India have made life difficult for the people. On Monday morning, the fog in Delhi was less after the rain. The sun has been shining in Greater Noida, adjacent to Delhi.
On the other hand, people are in terrible condition due to snowfall in Kashmir and Himachal. According to the Meteorological Department, an old and rain outbreak can be seen in Delhi on 22 and 23 January.
The outbreak of cold is also being seen in Uttar Pradesh. However, there is strong sunlight in the afternoon, which significantly relieves the people. Due to severe cold, the commoner is facing great difficulties.
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert given the rain in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR and Northern Rajasthan on 22 and 23 January. According to the Meteorological Department, over the next five days, rain and snowfall will continue in the Western Himalayas, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

Dense fog may prevail in Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, and Madhya Pra for the next two to three days. According to the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert has been issued for these areas. On Sunday morning, a thick blanket of fog covered Delhi, which affected railway operations. Due to mist fog, 41 trains from various capital stations were running late.
Weather condition in UP
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may remain evident in the state on January 20. However, fog may prevail at some places in western and eastern UP late at night and early in the morning. Strong winds are expected to blow at 20 to 30 kilometres per hour. The weather will remain clear on January 21, but moderate fog may prevail during the night and morning.
