New Delhi: The monsoon rains have caused a major disaster in many areas, leaving everyone upset. There is continuous torrential rain in parts of coastal Karnataka, causing widespread distress. Due to heavy rains, two people, including a girl, have died due to a landslide in Ullal taluka.

According to officials, five people were trapped under a collapsed hill in Montepadavu, who were rescued and evacuated safely by the rescue team. There are reports of many people being trapped, who are being traced.
According to officials, in another incident in Deralakatte, Mangaluru, a wall collapsed on a house on Friday morning, killing a six-year-old girl. She has been identified as Fatima Naeem. Intermittent rain is still being witnessed in many areas.
