The US continues to maintain a tough stance against Iran. The USA has suddenly increased its military presence in the Middle East, deploying more than 50 fighter jets in the past 24 hours.

This deployment is also being seen as a way to exert pressure through US air and naval power. Additionally, according to dependent flight-tracking data and military aviation monitors, modern fighter jets such as the F-22, F-35, and F-16 have been observed heading towards the Middle East. Several aerial refuelling tankers have also been deployed, indicating that the US military is preparing for a prolonged military operation.
US Attempts to Solve Problems Through Military Pressure
The US views Iran’s nuclear-related efforts as an attempt to exert pressure by deploying military contingents. The second round of indirect talks between the US and Iran on their nuclear program is underway in Geneva, Switzerland.
US officials say some progress has been made in the talks, but several key issues remain to be discussed. Following meetings attended by US President Donald Trump’s special envoys, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, Iranian representatives have indicated they may return with new proposals within two weeks.
According to US officials, these proposals could be aimed at reducing existing differences between the two countries. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described the talks as serious, constructive and positive.
