A decline in temperature levels has been recorded in various regions of Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, and Uttarakhand due to snowfall. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD),warnings for heavy rainfall have been issued for several states across the country. Weather Forecast for Delhi

According to the Meteorological Department, adverse weather conditions are expected to persist until April 5. The IMD has issued an alert for the capital city, warning of potential hailstorms accompanied by rain tomorrow. There is also a possibility of dust storms occurring on April 5. The minimum temperature in the capital tomorrow is projected to hover around 19 degrees Celsius.

Weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh are also expected to remain quite unsettled tomorrow. According to the IMD, a warning for heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder has been issued for the period between April 4 and April 6 for the districts of Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Firozabad, Mahoba, Jhansi, Jalaun, Mahamayangar, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Kanpur, and Lucknow. Additionally, gusty winds are expected in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

In several regions of Rajasthan—including the state capital, Jaipur—rainfall accompanied by thunder, lightning, and hailstorms has led to a drop in temperature levels. According to the Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rainfall is anticipated on April 4 in Jaipur, Udaipur, Alwar, Chittorgarh, Tonk, Bundi, Bhilwara, and Pratapgarh. Meanwhile, a warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for Bhopal, Satna, Katni, Damoh, Panna, Chhatarpur, Morena, Niwari, and Betul.

Rain Expected in Bihar as Well

The IMD indicates a strong likelihood of moderate to heavy rainfall on April 4, 2026, in Patna, West Champaran, East Champaran, Bhojpur, Gaya, Rohtas, Kaimur, and Aurangabad. Additionally, an alert has been issued warning of lightning and thunderstorms accompanying the rain in certain areas. Farmers have also been advised to remain vigilant.

Rain Warning for Uttarakhand and Himachal

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility that weather conditions in the hilly regions may deteriorate. The IMD has issued a heavy rainfall alert for Nainital, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Almora, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, and Tehri Garhwal, effective from April 4 to April 7. In Himachal Pradesh, a Yellow Alert was issued yesterday, warning of rainfall in Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Kangra, Kinnaur, Chamba, and Sirmaur.
