New Delhi: The weather across North India has taken a turn for the worse once again due to the renewed activity of a Western Disturbance. Since early morning, clouds have gathered over various regions, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Uttarakhand. Drizzle has been observed in some locations, accompanied by a slight dip in temperatures.
Over the past 24 hours, spells of rain have been witnessed in several parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Hailstorms have also been recorded in various areas of East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, and Central Maharashtra.

The weather conditions have deteriorated once again. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, across several states. Detailed information regarding the specific weather conditions expected in different regions can be found below.
Heavy Rainfall Warning for These States
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for heavy rainfall—accompanied by thunder and lightning—has been issued for West and East Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Konkan & Goa. Additionally, heavy rainfall alerts have been issued for Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, and West and East Madhya Pradesh.
Furthermore, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in the Gujarat region, Saurashtra & Kutch, Chhattisgarh, and Arunachal Pradesh. In Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, and Mizoram, heavy rainfall is expected, accompanied by winds gusting at speeds of 60 to 80 kilometers per hour. Various locations across Tripura may experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong gusty winds ranging from 50 to 80 km per hour.
Weather Set to Change in Delhi-NCR
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms has been issued for Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and several other parts of the NCR for April 4. These areas may also witness thunder and lightning. Residents have been advised to remain cautious regarding the potential risk of lightning strikes.
The spell of rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is expected to continue on April 5 as well. Temperatures are expected to range between a maximum of 31 degrees and a minimum of 18 degrees. An alert has been issued indicating that humidity levels will likely hover between 85% and 45%. Some relief from the weather conditions may be observed on April 6.
Weather in UP
According to the IMD (India Meteorological Department),the state may witness a sudden shift in weather patterns over the next 24 hours. Heavy rainfall is likely in several parts of the state on April 4. An alert has been issued warning of severe weather conditions extending from Western Uttar Pradesh all the way to the Bundelkhand region. This could also lead to a sudden drop in temperatures. An ‘Orange Alert’ has been issued for the districts of Western and South-Western Uttar Pradesh.

Weather in Bihar
According to the Meteorological Department, weather patterns in Bihar appear to be undergoing continuous change. In recent days, parts of the state have experienced rainfall and thunderstorms. A significant change in weather conditions is anticipated after April 5. An alert has been issued warning of light to moderate rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms in the region. Furthermore, the impact of rainfall and strong winds is expected to intensify across several parts of the state on April 6 and 7.
