The Delhi High Court had imposed this condition.

A Delhi High Court judge gave the lawyer representing actor Rajpal Yadav until 3 pm to submit a demand draft of ₹1.5 crore in the defendant’s name for interim bail.

The court stated, “If you submit the demand draft by 3 pm today, we will release you. If you fail to do so, we will hear the case tomorrow.” Meanwhile, Rajpal Yadav’s lawyer informed the High Court that he had deposited a DD of ₹1.5 crore.

Bail was not granted on this date.

For information, on February 12th, the Delhi High Court issued a strong reprimand to the actor during a hearing. The court stated, “We may sympathise with you, but the law prevails. You did not surrender despite the court’s order, but only when the court ordered you to do so again.” Rajpal Yadav’s lawyer requested interim bail to attend his elder brother’s daughter’s wedding.

Rajpal Yadav’s lawyer assured the court that he was ready to deposit the remaining amount with the court and had extended a helping hand to the Bollywood industry and others. However, the court postponed the bail application and scheduled a hearing for February 16th.
