Rajasthan Weather:- Life has been affected due to heavy rains in Rajasthan. Due to continuous heavy rains, a flood-like situation prevails in many districts of Rajasthan. The main road in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, has been badly damaged due to heavy rains. In such a situation, the administration has banned the entry of heavy vehicles, including buses, trucks, and dumpers. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has issued a double alert of heavy rains in 13 districts of the state for Monday.
The Meteorological Centre Jaipur has issued an orange alert for heavy rains in Sirohi, Balotra, Barmer, Jaisalmer and Jalore. Rivers and streams are in spate, and life has been affected in many places. Major accidents and incidents were also reported on Monday in several districts, including Udaipur, Ajmer, and Sawai Madhopur.
The road has been completely closed due to heavy stones falling from the mountain on National Highway-58E (Udaipur-Jhadol-Idar) near Jhadol in Udaipur district on Monday morning. At the same time, due to the landslide, a long queue of vehicles formed on both sides. Traffic has been disrupted due to this sudden accident.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in four districts of Rajasthan on Monday. Apart from this, due to rain and bad weather, a holiday has been declared in all schools in Udaipur (except those within municipal limits), Salumber, Jalore, Dungarpur, Sirohi, Barmer, Jaisalmer, and Balotra districts on Monday. Meteorologists predict that people in the state can expect some relief from heavy rains starting on September 9. However, by then, it will take time for the situation to return to normal in many districts.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding heavy rains with thunder and lightning in Phalodi, Pali, Jodhpur, Salumber, Udaipur, Rajsamand, Dungarpur, and Banswara. Rain activities are likely to decline in most of the remaining parts of next week.
