Monsoon Alert: The weather is set to change once again across the country, bringing rain and thunderstorms. The northeastern states are also expected to experience severe weather, which is expected to worsen the situation. Rain Expected in These States
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh. Furthermore, heavy rain is expected to continue in Odisha and Maharashtra between October 12th and 14th. Additionally, rain is expected in several districts of Uttar Pradesh on October 12th and 13th. Strong winds may also continue here.
Rain Expectations in Uttar Pradesh
The IMD has predicted rain in Ballia, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Hathras, and Kasganj in Uttar Pradesh. In addition, a heavy rain alert has been issued for Sitapur, Bahraich, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Pilibhit. According to the IMD, heavy rain alerts have been issued for Aligarh, Badaun, Bulandshahr, Sambhal, Hapur, Amroha, Meerut, and Bijnor.
Rain in Eastern India
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Odisha on October 12th. Rain is also expected in Assam, Meghalaya, and Nagaland. Rain is expected in Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura until October 13th.
Heavy rains are also expected to continue in the sub-Himalayan region, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Sikkim. Rain alerts have been issued for Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, with heavy rainfall expected through October 13th.
