Rain Alert:- The intense winds blowing in North India for the last two days are now slowing down. The mood of the weather seems to be changing once again. While snowfall continues in the mountains, rain can also be seen now. In the plains, the heat wave is being seen due to the increase in temperature in the first week of March itself.

However, now the Western Disturbance is about to knock, so there is a possibility of rain in the hilly states. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued in view of rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh from 9-13 March.

Regarding the weather of the last 24 hours, light rain has been seen in Arunachal Pradesh. Also, rain has been recorded in Assam, Meghalaya, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Mahe.

According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance will come on March 9. Due to this, an alert has been issued regarding rain between 9-13 March in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh. Rain may occur in Uttarakhand on 10-13 March and in Punjab on 12 and 13 March. An alert was also issued regarding storms and rain in Assam, Meghalaya, and Sikkim on March 7 and 8 and in Nagaland on March 7.

The Meteorological Department issued an alert, given the heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala on 10 and 11 March, and South Interior Karnataka on March 11. At the same time, there is a possibility of an increase in maximum temperature by two to four degrees Celsius in North West India and Central India in the next three to four days. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of rain in Bihar, Sikkim, Assam and surrounding areas. The weather will remain clear in UP, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh until March 12.
