Maha Kumbh 2025 Update: The Goa government has offered a gift to devotees wishing to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela. The state government has announced that three special trains will be run from Goa to Prayagraj. Devotees will be able to travel on these trains for free. The Maha Kumbh 2025 fair is currently in full swing in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, with millions of people taking a holy dip in the Sangam every day. Maha Kumbh 2025 will conclude on 26th February 2025. Here are the Complete details about the special trains being operated by the Goa government.
When and Where Will You Get the Train?
The Goa government started the free train service on 6th February 2025. All three special trains will depart from Madgaon station in South Goa and reach Prayagraj. The first train left for Prayagraj at 8 AM on 6th February 2025.
The next two trains will run on 13th February 2025 and 21st February 2025. Devotees travelling to Maha Kumbh can board these trains from Madgaon station.

Free Food Along with Free Train
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced details about these special trains running between Goa and Prayagraj. He also mentioned that around 1000 passengers will travel on each train.

State Social Welfare Minister Subhash Fal Desai shared that devotees will also be provided free food during the journey. These trains will take about 34 hours to reach Prayagraj from Goa.
