Priya Marathe passes away:- Actress Priya Marathe, who appeared in the role of Vandu in the TV serial Pavitra Rishta, has said goodbye to this world forever. The actress has died in Mumbai at the age of 38. The actress has been battling cancer since last year. According to reports, Priya Marathe was battling the disease for a long time, after which she died. Despite the treatment, she could not recover. The actress played the role of Ankita Lokhande’s sister in the serial Pavitra Rishta.

There is mourning among the fans after Priya’s death. According to the report of Maharashtra Times, Priya was battling cancer for a long time. She died on Sunday after losing the battle with this disease. The actress passed away on the morning of August 31. People are seen paying tribute to the actress.

Born on April 23, 1987 in Mumbai, Priya Marathe made her TV debut with the Marathi serial Ya Sukhonoya. In Hindi television, she played the role of Vidya Bali in Balaji Telefilms’ serial Kasam Se. However, the actress gained real recognition from Zee TV’s serial Pavitra Rishta, in which she played the role of Ankita Lokhande’s on-screen sister, Varsha Satish. She later appeared in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Tu Tithe Mein, Bhaage Re Mann, Jayastute and Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap. She demonstrated her acting prowess in numerous popular shows. Priya Marathe married Shantanu Moghe in 2012, who is the son of veteran actor Srikant Moghe.
