If your shop is located within your home, you can install solar panels on the roof of your house, including the shop area.

Rules for Commercial Shops
However, if your shop is commercial and you have a separate commercial electricity connection for it, you will not be eligible for the subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana. In such cases, you can still install solar panels on your commercial shop, but you will need to do so at your own expense, as the government does not provide subsidies for commercial properties.
