School Closed:- The Indian Army has responded to the Pahalgam terror attack through ‘Operation Sindoor’ on May 7, 2025. India’s much-awaited retaliation turned the top bases of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba into rubble. Taking revenge, the Indian Army on Wednesday destroyed terrorist bases in Pakistan by air strikes.
Schools closed
All schools and colleges in Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir have been closed as a precautionary measure. The Divisional Commissioner has confirmed that this decision has been made for security reasons. On the other hand, holidays have been declared in educational institutions in Pakistan’s Punjab province, and an emergency-like situation is in force.
The killing of 25 Indian tourists and a Nepali citizen in the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 created a stir across the country. Now India has shown Pakistan that it is clear and decisive in its stand against terrorism.
What is Operation Sindoor?
A terrorist attack was carried out in Pahalgam, in which 26 innocent people lost their lives. Precisely on the 15th day of this terrorist attack, at around 1:44 am, India attacked 9 terrorist bases located in Pakistan and occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Many Pakistani terrorists have died in this attack by India. In such a situation, keeping security in mind, schools and colleges have been closed in 5 districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi posted on Instagram and wrote, “We are proud of our armed forces. Jai Hind.”
Arvind Kejriwa said – We are proud of the Indian Army
Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has also given his reaction. He wrote – We are proud of the Indian Army and our brave soldiers. 140 crore Indians stand with the Indian Army in this fight against terrorism. The courage of the Indian Army is the faith of every countryman. We are all together – united against terrorism.
