Officials said that almost all the patients in these cases are in stable condition and did not require hospitalization. For this, IDSP (Integrated Disease Surveillance Program) and ICMR are constantly monitoring so that timely steps can be taken! Kerala has the highest number of patients.

The government has directed all hospitals in the country to keep an eye on cases of influenza like illnesses and severe respiratory distress. The Union Health Ministry is monitoring the situation with full vigilance and ensuring that timely steps are taken to protect the health of the people. According to last week’s data, 69 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Kerala, 44 in Maharashtra and 34 in Tamil Nadu.
